Who Should Audition

Dancers ages 9+ seeking placement in the Intermediate or Advanced Summer Intensive

    •    New and returning students not currently enrolled at Rocky Mountain Conservatory

    •    Outside dancers are welcome

Outside students who are not currently enrolled at Rocky Mountain Conservatory are required to:

    •    Complete audition registration and payment through the $25 Audition Fee button below

Video Auditions

Video auditions are accepted for dancers unable to attend in person.

Current RMC students may be placed at the discretion of faculty and may not be required to audition

Who Does NOT Need to Audition

    •    Junior Summer Intensive (ages 7+)

    •    Fairy Tales Summer Intensive (ages 3+)

These programs are open enrollment and do not require an audition.

What to Expect at the Audition

    •    Classical ballet class including:

    •    Barre

    •    Center

    •    Across-the-floor work

    •    Pointe work may be included for eligible dancers

Auditions are conducted in a supportive and professional environment and are used solely for level placement.

What to Wear

    •    Solid-color leotard

    •    Pink tights (classical ballet)

    •    Ballet slippers

    •    Pointe shoes (if applicable)

    •    Hair neatly secured in a bun

How to Register

    •    No pre-registration fee for RMC students required. Outside students pay $25 and fill the Registration Form.

    •    Arrive 15 minutes early to check in

Placement results and registration instructions will be emailed following the audition.

Early Bird Tuition 5% discounts apply to weekly Summer Intensive registrations completed by March 15, 2026.

Discounted Tuition

One week:
$745 → $708 (save $37)

Two weeks:
$1,399 → $1,329 (save $70)

Three weeks:
$1,988 → $1,889 (save $99)

(Day drop-in is not discounted.)
